We are excited to announce the upcoming 36th Annual NTAEE Energy Conference!  At this year's conference we will have an outstanding group of industry leading speakers. Our Key Note speaker will be Tom Rose with CMG Consulting and he will be speaking on Grid Level Storage.  We will open the conference with Eli Goldstein from Skycool, followed by Carter Schoenberg with IPKEYS Power Partners, Brett Monteleone with Johnson Controls, and finally a VRF panel. The NTAEE Energy Conference creates a balanced mixture of speaker presentations and vendor booth exhibits to facilitate the transfer of cutting edge energy technology and discussions. The venue this year will be at Dave and Buster's in Euless, Texas. 

Join us for a time of networking and entertainment during our after-hours event which features unlimited arcade play and 1-play of the new virtual reality special attraction!

Keynote Speaker: Grid Level Storage, Tom Rose, Principal & Senior Consultant With CMG Consulting 

   Tom is a mechanical/nuclear engineer and governmental policy and regulatory affairs expert with over 40 years of experience in the power industry, having served 33+ years in various staff, management and executive roles for TXU Corporation. This included leading TXU’s Governmental Policy efforts to implement price-competition in ERCOT from 1999 to 2009. He is a Principal and Senior Consultant with CMG, leading the efforts to reform regulatory markets to encourage implementation of new smart grid technologies. During the last nine (9) years, Tom has also served as President of his energy consulting firm, Geometric Strategies, providing governmental policy and regulatory design services to private and public entities, including integration of new power projects into the grid. Tom has lived in the Dallas/Fort Worth area since 1980. He is married and has two adult children, along with three grandchildren.

 

    Skycool, Eli Goldstein, Co-Founder/CEO With Skycool  

     Eli received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and is currently the CEO and a co-founder of SkyCool Systems. Eli has a passion for energy systems and thermal science. He has led teams of  engineers in both industrial and academic settings and previously worked with two cleantech startups. He also led thermal modeling/testing for an entry into the Gates Foundation’s Reinventing the Toilet Grand Challenge.  

 

 

     Cyber Security, Carter Schoenberg, Executive VP Cybersecurity Solutions with IPKeys Power Partners

      Carter Schoenberg is the  Executive Vice President of Cyber Solutions with IPKeys Power Partners, Carter Schoenberg. Mr. Schoenberg is a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) with over 25 years of combined experience in criminal investigations, cyber threat intelligence, cyber security, risk management, and cyber law.  He is a cyber risk subject matter expert supporting government and commercial markets to better define how cyber, legal, and insurance matters converge and impact organizations.   

 

 

 

Frictionless Motors, Brett Monteleone, Regional Sales Manager with Johnson Controls 

Brett Monteleone is the Chiller Channel Manager for Johnson Controls, Inc.  In his 15 years with JCI, he has held different local and regional positions in Orlando, Jacksonville and now works directly for JCI’s corporate headquarters in Milwaukee, WI.  In his current role, he is responsible for the promotion and application of JCI’s entire portfolio of chillers and heat pumps. His career has been specifically focused on overall system optimization and design.  He has supported the application of JCI’s chiller offering on projects throughout the USA and abroad in South America, North Africa, the Middle East and the Caribbean.  Seawater cooled titanium centrifugal, radiator cooled centrifugal and waterside cascade are just a few of the unique project applications Brett has led in his career.  Brett holds a BSIE from the University of Florida and is a LEED Accredited Professional.
